The MISMO Board of Directors consists of two representatives from the residential mortgage industry and two representatives of the commercial mortgage industry and one representative at-large that serve for staggered two-year terms. The MISMO Governance Committee reports to the Board of Directors through an ex officio (non-voting) representative.
Board members are appointed by the shareholder of MISMO’s parent corporation, Mortgage Bankers Association. Elections for Chair of the Board and ex officio representative from the Governance Committee are held annually.
