MISMO is possible because of the support of its subscriber organizations. As a subscriber, you play a more integral role in the development of the standards. Subscribers are eligible to serve as leaders in MISMO, have a voice in the election process and have exclusive access to early releases of documentation and specifications in a subscriber-based Web repository.

• A voice in our industry’s standards development process - MISMO Subscribers are permitted to vote to approve standards and make important decisions that drive the standards forward. In addition, only MISMO Subscribers are permitted to vote in elections and hold office as Workgroup Chairs, be elected to the MISMO Governance Committee, or serve on the MISMO Board of Directors.
• Exclusive access to the MISMO development community - MISMO Subscribers have access to the SharePoint site (subscriber-only Web site), resources like group collaborative tools, early releases of documentation and specifications and all of the historical documentation and work in progress of over 30 active MISMO Workgroups representing the MISMO development community.
• A complimentary seat for face-to-face meetings - This is your opportunity to work directly with leaders within the industry to create standards that directly impact each of the three broad areas in the mortgage industry: residential, commercial and electronic mortgages. MISMO Subscribers attend each of the three trimester workgroup meetings without paying a registration fee (saving nearly $1,200 per year per attendee).
