The Charter The Interface Architecture Workgroup enables standards-based methodology, practice, and guidance for the transport, routing and packaging of residential mortgage information. The workgroup defines and develops message exchange patterns for enterprise and trading partner exchange of data and documents for a variety of mortgage banking industry activities.
The MISMO Enveloping and eMortgage Closing Interface Transaction (eMCIT) Workgroups have been combined to establish a consolidate group that will focus on the movement of information. Data movement entails transport, routing and packaging of messages. Transport and routing can represent simple point-to-point, multi-services with an intermediate conduit and eMortgage closing transactions. Payload range from MISMO XML to complex bundles of SMARTDoc, images and signatures. The products of this Workgroup will impact all MISMO process areas.
