The Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO®), a not-for-profit subsidiary of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), is the leading technology standards development body for the Mortgage Industry. MBA created MISMO in 1999 to promote and facilitate industry’s efforts to develop standardized, Internet-based Real Estate Finance Transactions for both Residential and Commercial Industry segments, in both the Primary and Secondary markets.

Even with a healthy subscriber base, MISMO needs supplemental funding to meet its annual budget. MISMO incurs its greatest expenses from managing three yearly meetings. One of the most important reasons MISMO hosts Trimester Meetings is so that standards developers from across the various Workgroups (WGs) can collaborate
face-to-face with the strongest technologists in the mortgage industry. MISMO’s key goal for 2008 is to release updated versions of its standards in XML Schema.

Sponsorship Levels
There are two ways to show your support for MISMO:

The first is with a monetary sponsorship that is used to finance MISMO subscriber activities throughout the year. This type of sponsorship is not tied to a particular Trimester meeting or event.

The second way to become a MISMO sponsor is by paying for a specific Trimester event. The dollar
amount donated toward any event is credited toward the contributor’s overall sponsorship level.

There are five levels of MISMO Sponsorship available (one for every company’s budget):

• Platinum $ 20,000
• Gold $ 10,000
• Silver $ 5,000
• Bronze $ 2,500
• Contributing $ 1,000
• Event (As Arranged)*

The second way to become a MISMO sponsor is by paying for a specific Trimester Event. Examples include:

• Breakfast
• AM or PM Break
• Cocktail Reception
• Luncheon (Council of Chairs)
• Governance Committee Dinner

The dollar amount donated toward any Event is credited toward the contributor’s overall sponsorship level.
Sponsorships for single events are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Sponsorship Benefits
All sponsors receive the following benefits, regardless of level. Once the application is processed, sponsors receive:

Recognition on MISMO’s Website and in MISMO Communications.

• MISMO proudly displays the Sponsor’s name, logo, and Web site link on the Sponsorship Page
  of its Web site for the remainder of the calendar year.
• The Sponsor’s logo is included in flash banners prominently displayed on MISMO’s Web site for
  the remainder of the calendar year.
• Sponsor logos are included on email communication to the entire MISMO subscribership during
  the calendar year.

Recognition during MISMO Events

• Sponsor logos and sponsorship levels are displayed at MISMO Trimester meetings.
• Sponsors may provide a one-page promotional flyer to be included in Trimester meeting
  materials.
• Sponsors may provide branded promotional giveaways.

Recognition during MBA Events

• Sponsor logos and sponsorship levels are displayed at the MISMO Booth and registration kiosk
  throughout the following MBA events: MBA’s CREF Conference and Expo, MBA’s Technology
  Conference and Expo, and MBA’s Annual Conference and Expo.
• Listing in MBA Convention Program books.

In addition to the benefits described above, the following benefits are provided with each level of Sponsorship.
