eDoc/eMortgage Vault Interoperability Community of Practice (CoP)
Join MISMO's eDoc/eMortage Vault Interoperability CoP!
MISMO is seeking industry participation in an effort to reduce friction caused by sharing eNotes and other electronic documents (eDocs) across eVaults. Inconsistencies in current practice hinder workflows and scalability as the industry moves toward a fully digital mortgage. The collaborative development of standards and best practices will improve the interoperability of eDocs so they may be shared between eVaults in a seamless manner.
MISMO's eDoc/eMortgage Vault Interoperability Community of Practice (previously a Development Workgroup) is responsible for identifying the inconsistencies and challenges in electronic documents and eVaults and will identify solutions and best practices for eliminating issues. After recommending solutions, the group will monitor their outcomes over time to ensure any eDoc/eVault interoperability issues are fully resolved.
Organizations involved in the creation and vaulting of eDocs, and those organizations' partners and other stakeholders, are encouraged to collaborate with MISMO on this effort. Those interested do not have to be MISMO members to participate, but only MISMO members can vote on products created as a result of this effort.
If you are interested to participate with this group and are already a MISMO member you may join the collaboration site that has been established on "MISMO Connect". If you are not a member of MISMO, let us know that you would like to participate by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. For information on how to become a MISMO Member, see here.
