David Coleman serves as President of the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO), a subsidiary of the Mortgage Bankers Association. In his role, Coleman is responsible for leading MISMO in developing standards that improve efficiency, deliver interoperability, and accelerate the mortgage industry’s digital transformation. He has extensive experience in strategy and planning, product development, risk management and operations. The scope of David’s experience includes work with leading banks, mortgage lenders and servicers, mortgage investors and GSEs, mortgage insurers, technology vendors and service providers. Before joining MISMO, he worked with industry start-ups to help tailor offerings, establish relationships, and develop business strategies.
