MISMO Unique Identifiers Implementation Guide

The MISMO Unique Identifiers implementation guide supports the creation of Unique Identifiers (Unique ID) for the MISMO Reference Model. The guide was published as candidate recommendation in May of 2025.

Unique IDs will facilitate:

• Reduced time and cost required to determine if internal system changes are required
• Reduced concern that a new Reference Model version will break an organization’s processes
• Enhanced adoption of newer Reference Model versions
