TRID Domain Description

The scope of the TILA RESPA Integrated Disclosures (TRID) / Know Before You Owe (KBYO) Domain description includes the following: 

  • Data aspects of Integrated Disclosures, specifically data and information exchanges required to support the Closing Disclosure and/or Loan Estimate artifacts.
  • Production, transmission, and consumption of MISMO XML messages, or information exchanges, specific to the Closing Disclosure and/or Loan Estimate artifacts.
Potential Use Cases Associated with the Domain (not an exhaustive list):
  • Production, transmission, and consumption of a MISMO Version 3.3 transaction dataset specific to support of the CFPB Closing Disclosure.
  • Production, transmission, and consumption of a MISMO Version 3.3 transaction dataset specific to support of the CFPB Loan Estimate.
  • Preparation of the Closing Disclosure Form from a MISMO Version 3.3 transaction dataset.
  • Preparation of the Loan Estimate Form from a MISMO Version 3.3 transaction dataset.
  • MISMO Version 3.3 mapping of internal systems to Closing Disclosure and/or the Loan Estimate.
  • Production, transmission, and consumption of a MISMO Version 3.3 transaction dataset in support of the GSE Uniform Closing Dataset.

It is certification of appropriate use of MISMO standards and best practices related to the data aspects of the Integrated Disclosures, specifically data and information exchanges required to support the Closing Disclosure (CD) and/or Loan Estimate (LE) artifacts.
