Business Executive Team

The Business Executive Team (BET) is responsible for reviewing and approving work requests proposing new projects, development of new products, and or modifications to existing MISMO work products received from work sponsors on behalf of the Board Prioritization Committee. The BET reports to the Board Prioritization Committee to whom it must report on its activities at least quarterly.

Voting members of the BET are representative of impacted areas of across the organization including chairs of the Residential Standards Governance Committee, Commercial Standards Governance Committee, Council of Chairs, and New Product Incubator as well as the MISMO Manager. If necessary, the Business Executive Team membership can be extended by up to five additional members appointed by the MISMO Board Prioritization Committee.   Current members of the BET include:

Business Executive Team Objectives

This team will evaluate each work request presented by members and non-members and will:

  1. Ensure that approved work requests align with guidance received from the Prioritization Committee
  2. Assess the work effort of the various Development Work Groups and Communities of Practice to assure sufficient resources are available to support the proposed work request
  3. Document the change and its disposition from acceptance to delivery of the required products
  4. Manage the hand off to the appropriate Standards Governance committee
  5. Report work request disposition and status periodically to the Prioritization Committee
  6. Reports its activities to the Prioritization Committee.
