MISMO Calls for Industry Professionals to Join Commercial eNotes Development Workgroup

WASHINGTON, D.C. (August 26, 2025) – MISMO®, the real estate finance industry's standards organization, has issued a call for industry professionals to join the Commercial eNotes Development Workgroup (DWG), an effort to develop a glossary of common terms that will be used in the generation of commercial, home equity line of credit, agriculture, and multi-family digital mortgages.  

“This resource will serve as a foundational block for moving towards the standardization of the eNote process for commercial, home equity line of credit, agriculture, and multi-family loan origination,” said MISMO Acting President Rick Hill. “It will allow for use of a common language between mortgage stakeholders and beneficiaries, which will improve transparency, support smoother integration with technology solutions, enhance automation, and reduce operational risks.”

Join MISMO on the second Thursday of each month at 3 pm ET to work towards this goal. Individuals interested in participating in this group who are already MISMO members may join the collaboration site that has been established on MISMO Connect.
